This province, has 235 kilometers of international border with the Azerbaijan Republic, Armenia, and Nakhjavan, and has been located in the neighbourhood of these new states. units is over 4200 units with 61585 employees, which around 712 units are related to big workshops (10 employees & over) and 3488 units are related to small workshops less than 10 employees. Tabriz is the Iran's second largest center of trade and industry which including big Industrial companies for producing the Tractor, Machinery and Tools, Compressor, Lift-Truck, Auto parts, Pharmaceutical and specially FOOD products. Food processing is one of the main industrial fields in Tabriz and many private companies are active in these fields.
